SECTION MEETING NOTICE

 

Wednesday - February 8, 2012

Spouses and Past Chairs Night

 

Join us for a special evening honoring our members' spouses and past Chairs.  The meal is free to our honorees.  We will have a comedian on hand to entertain and we have invited the St. Luke's blood mobile unit to collect donations on behalf of Past Chair Al Baker's daughter who needs our help.  The blood mobile will be open from 5-8PM.  All those donating will receive a coupon for a free meal at any of our meetings this year.

 

Meeting Location:  Brady's Landing, 8505 Cypress Street, Houston, TX 77012

Directions to Brady's:

From Loop 610 West, take Hwy 225 West exit.  From Hwy 225 West - right at first red light (Broadway), right on first street past the railroad overpass (Cypress), and take the left fork just before Newpark Shipyard's entrance gate.  Brady's Landing is to the left.

4:30 - 5:30pm  Executive Committee

5:00 - 8:00pm  Blood Drive

5:30 - 6:30pm  Social Hour

6:30 - 7:30pm  Dinner

7:30 - 8:30pm  Entertainment

Greater Houston ASNT Blood Drive

Longtime member of the Greater Houston Section, Al Baker needs our help.  Al's daughter, Leigh B. Williams is undergoing treatment at St. Luke's Episcopal Hospital here in Houston that requires a significant number of blood transfusions.

Please consider donating blood.  The Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center has donor facilities in neighborhoods across the area.  Locations and hours are listed at www.giveblood.org or by calling 713-791-6620.  Please request that you blood donation be credited to Leigh B. Williams' account #034959269.

Direct donations for Leigh B.
