ASNT President’s Award Program

The ASNT President’s Award Program is an annual nationwide initiative intended to promote the successful operation and management of local ASNT sections.  Through the tireless efforts and great talents of our GHASNT membership, we are proud to have received gold status for more than 8 years running!

The Greater Houston Section has won the PLATINUM award in the President’s Award program for section management and operations excellence for the 2022 – 2023 program year.

What's Involved?

Using a points-based system, several areas must be completed and confirmed related to the local section's activities and achievements including:

Section Publications & Yearbook (3500 Points)

Section Budget (500 Points)

Advance Program (1000 Points)

Nomination for Awards and Selection Committee (1000 Points)

Membership Growth and Retention (1750 Points)

Adult Education/Training (2500 Points)

Student Outreach (1500 Points)

Section Outreach (1500 Points)

Final Financial Reconciliation (500 Points)
